All I Ever Wanted Was Everything

Typographic concept made for merch and motion

The challenge here was to design a piece of merchandise and accompanying motion design gifs that only featured typography. Using elements of typographic hierarchy, colour theory, material composition and printing techniques we had to transform a personally significant mantra onto a physical design. The mantra I chose was All I Ever Wanted Was Everything, which not only had an abstract meaning of overachieving, but a physical meaning of aspiring to own everything. Having this saying aptly printed on a tote bag added to this literal meaning, touching on aspects of consumerism, overconsumption and wasteful practices.
